Listen to your body. Stress can lead to high blood pressure, chest pain, back pain, indigestion, headaches, diarrhea, insomnia, fatigue, anxiety, depression, sex problems, inability to concentrate, forgetfullness, confusion, lack of focus, burnout, mood swings, crying spells, irritability and anger.

Be sure to have some fun in your day – get playful, laugh out loud. If you don't have a friend handy to chat and laugh with, why not cuddle and smooze with a pet?

  • BE ACTIVE - YOUR WAY - EVERYDAY  The human body is a motion machine, to move and dance, jump and run, sing and play.  We've been gifted this body that is able to do ANY THING WE TEACH IT to, and won't do any thing unless WE MAKE IT MOVE.  The more active we are all day, everyday, the better our bodies and minds will perform. No- you do not have to run a marathon, but if you have stairs in your home, you could start by running up and down them at every opportunity.  When was the last time you picked up a skipping rope?  STOP LEANING ON ANYTHING, use your muscles to hold yourself up straight and with attention to posture you will experience improved body form and function. 

 

  • LEARN NEW KNOWLEDGE-  Learn about your physical body and what is the best fuel for healthy cells, learn about food, learn about supplements, learn about nutrition, learn about your mind and learn about your passions.  There is no shortage of information available today.  There is absolutely no excuse for not knowing other than not thinking.

 

  • ACCEPTANCE-  Accept that if you want something/anything to be different, you will need to change the something that you have now.  You can not keep doing the same thing, eating the same foods, sitting in the same chair, thinking the same thoughts, and expect to get something other than what you have now.  Accept that you are the way that you are because of your thoughts and actions coming up to today (as we all are).  Accept that the thoughts you hold today, will impact your world tomorrow.  Accept that a small change can have a beautiful ripple effect.  If we start in our thoughts with acceptance of how things are, acceptance of how we truly desire them to be, and acceptance of what is required to facilitate that which we desire, our worlds begin to change around us.  We will walk in the path of our desire.  Accept that once a mind has been stretched by a new thought, it will never again, take its original form.

 

  • DESIRE-  How bad do you really want it?  Desire is the trigger for thought and the fuel for action.  One of the easiest ways to keep desire high is by keeping the feeling near.  See your desire (see yourself in it), better yet, feel it.  Feel it in your mind and your body, then hold that feeling because if you know where you are going you will get there.

 

  • REST-  Take time to get clear on your direction, which passions to explore.  Take time to feel the breath fill your lungs and feel it slowly escape as you exhale.  Take time to explore your thoughts and feelings, ensure that they are true to your beliefs.  Take time to appreciate all that you have created, all that you have experienced and all that is possible.  Take time to see what is and imagine what could be.

THE QUALITY and THE QUANTITY of THE FUEL & ACTIVITIES will determine the results.  Focus on your desired outcome. KNOW what you want.  KNOW that it is up to you to get it.  Follow your intellect and you will find your way.  You can have what you want if you want it bad enough to change what you are doing now.  If you change what you are doing now, your results will change also.
